Preaching about the crucifixion of Christ now is considered foolishness because many are being lost in the lusts of their flesh. Also, some have taken the Christian faith as a fashion, something they just want to be associated with but they don’t want to immerse themselves in it. They are Christians by face but barbarians in reality, having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof. (2 Timothy 3:5). The Bible encourages us to not be conformed to the patterns of this word but instead to be transformed by renewing our minds (Romans 12:1-2). How then can we be renewed when we haven’t heard the good news of God himself?
